17-7PH Stainless Steel

17-7PH ALLOYS, also known as UNS S17700, AMS 5528, DIN/EN 1.4568, JIS SUS 632J1, and >AISI 631 is a precipitation-hardened alloy renowned for its high tensile strength, excellent fatigue resistance, and robust corrosion resistance. It blends the characteristics of Type 301 and 302 stainless steels and is heat-treated to deliver superior mechanical performance.

This alloy maintains its strength and integrity at elevated temperatures of up to 600°F (316°C), making it ideal for aerospace components, petrochemical equipment, spring applications, and structural parts where durability and corrosion resistance are essential.

17-7PH demonstrates excellent dimensional stability during heat treatment and provides strong formability and weldability, especially when in the annealed state.

At Plus Metals, we provide 17-7PH stainless steel in various forms, including sheets, coils, bars, strips, and custom sizes. We ensure reliable delivery and material traceability for critical applications.
